Things to do: Fall edition

There is so many fun things that come along with the fall season. If anyone is like me then you are probably already searching for festive things to do this fall. I am a very festive person; I love to decorate for each season or holiday, have the house smelling like the season with festive candles or wallflowers, and participate in festive festivities! I've listed a few things that are always on my fall bucket list below. I definitely recommend participating in these activities and getting in the fall spirit!

What's your favorite fall festivity?

My Ideal Sunday

I love Sunday's. They are a day for rejuvenating and preparing yourself for the upcoming week. I just love a laid back Sunday. Typically I would watch Netflix alllllll day, but I've listed below what my ideal Sunday would be when I'm not being super lazy.

What is your ideal Sunday?

Brooklyn Bridge Photo Diary

This past Wednesday my Mom came into the city to celebrate her birthday with me and I've always wanted to walk the Brooklyn Bridge so I figured what a better time to do it! The bridge was everything I expected; The architecture was amazing and it was beautiful being able to see the city from such great angles. Here's some photos I took:

My Top 3 Brunch Spots

Brunch is a religion. Especially in major cities, like New York. Brunch isn't at all important in my small-middle-of-nowhere hometown. I recommend brunch to everyone; it is definitely one of my favorite meals. I love brunching with friends. It's a must whenever they come to visit me. I have a list of restaurants I want to try while going to school in NYC so I try to brunch as often as possible. Brunch is always important and with that being said I want to share my top 3 brunch spots in NYC (this list is subject to change).

It's Not Goodbye, It's See You Later

Fashion month has sadly come to an end. I'm so glad I got to participate again this year with NYFW. I worked at the Sophia Theallet show dressing models. Personally, I love dressing models and being able to be backstage seeing all the chaos that goes on pre-fashion show. There is so much that goes into putting on a runway show...it is complete craziness. There is such great energy backstage; models are so excited to see what they're going to be wearing, the designer is running around making sure everything is perfect, press is going crazy trying to get tons of pics...it's just amazing. The best part is the end of the show when the models and designer come back from doing the final walk and you can see such relief and happiness in them. It's such a great experience! Unfortunately, I couldn't be in Paris or Milan for fashion week but style.com has made me feel like I was there every step of the way. I took a lot of inspiration away from this years shows and I can't wait to start my spring/summer wardrobe. If you haven't already checked out the SS15 fashion shows you should do so by going to style.com for EVERY SINGLE FASHION SHOW.

Something to Live By

My motto: "When you look good, you feel good." LITERALLY. When everything else in your life is f#@!%d up...at least your outfit isn't. Imagine if your boyfriend just broke up with you. you lost your wallet, you got a C on your midterm AND your outfit is not on point...NO BUENO; But imagine all those situations with a great outfit (much better, right?) Here's where retail therapy also comes in handy. When you're just not feeling life one day and you're just completely over everything, go shopping! Shopping is always a good idea.  Basically what I'm saying is if all else fails, look good.
